Dearne Valley test shoot

Dearne Valley Archery Club held a test shoot at their new Savin Royd Wood ground, near Woolley, on Sunday the 22nd of August 2010. The sun shone on the righteous field archers, who were all impressed with the new ground. DVAC members have been working on the ground since January, and have created a very high-quality course. The venue has more space and more potential than their previous ground.

GNAS members will be able to try out the ground for themselves at several upcoming shoots. The postponed Easter Weekend shoot will take place on the 4th and 5th of September. The Yorkshire Field Championships will be hosted by Dearne Valley on the 23rd of October. And the Doncaster & District Archery Association's Field Championships (an Animal round) will be held here on the 14th of November.

NFAS members will be able to enjoy a mixed 2D/3D shoot on the 21st of November.
