Key Event 1 for World Youth Championships Selection 2017
Key Event 1 took place at Lilleshall on the weekend of the 15th and 16th of April. This was the first of four events throughout the year aimed at the country's best junior archers. The events aim to give the archers the experience and skills of a full international event with individual, team and mixed team events taking place at each stage.
Four of Yorkshire's juniors took part. All are members of the YAA Youth squad; Ben was in the Northern Academy at Bishop Burton, Megan and Niamh are currently in Kath Fitzpatrick's coaching group on the Archery GB National Age Group Academy. Joe is part of the National Talent Confirmation Academy and has been working with Richard Priestman and Songi Woo.
