St George Longbow Tournament 2010
The Royal Society of St George and the Bowmen of Adel held the St George Longbow Tournament in Morley on the 18th of April 2010. A Western round was shot, followed by a shoot-off for the Royal Armouries arrow.
The Bowmen of Adel were presented with a certificate by the Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, to thank them for hosting the tournament for the last six years.
Julia Madelin acted as the Lady Paramount. Julia and her husband Colin travel from the south of England every year for this tournament.
Shaun Mullins won the Royal Armouries Golden Arrow - congratulations to him!
Colin Hope was unable to compete this time following an operation on his elbow, but he helped to run the shoot and took the photos below.
