For most browsers on Windows, press ALT plus the access key number. For most browsers on Macintosh, press Control plus the access key number. In the Opera browser, press SHIFT-ESC then the access key number.
Accessibility statement
The Phoenix Bowmen Archery Club has been careful to develop this site in a way that should make it accessible to any browser and to any assistive technologies. We recommend the Creating an Accessible Website guidelines provided by WhoIsHostingThis.com. We have followed the guidelines in the W3C's International Guidelines and HM Government's guidelines on accessibility. It's possible that we've got something wrong though, so we welcome reports of accessibility problems and any suggestions for improving accessibility.
The website has been tested on Internet Explorer 6 and above, Lynx, Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Opera. It has not been optimised for any particular browser.
- Our pages are designed so that they can be viewed well at a screen resolution of 800 x 600 pixels.
- Page design has been kept simple.
- All text has a high level of contrast with its background.
- The structure of each page is conveyed using header tags.
- A consistent set of navigation controls is available on each page.
- Page formatting is controlled by a stylesheet.
- A separate stylesheet is used for controlling the format of pages when printed.
- All text uses relative font sizes so the user can easily resize the text.
- All images have ALT tags. Images that convey information have descriptive text in the ALT tags. Images that do not convey information have blank ALT tags.
- No information is conveyed exclusively using colour.
- Each page has skip-links at the top to assist users of non-graphical browsers.
- The site does not use frames.
- The site does not currently use JavaScript. We are considering the introduction of JavaScript, but will ensure that it does not interfere with the experience of users who do not have or want JavaScript.
